This newsletter is coming to you from the Windy City, where we are attending the H & H American Trade Show. We won't see much of Chicago other than the airport and the convention center but we sure have found some fun items at the show. Coming soon, expect new Block of the Month programs, new embroidery, new fabrics, new patterns and a few strawberries too!

These prints will bring to mind past summers. Nostalgic designs in bright colors printed on canvas weight cotton. Great for bags, totes, aprons, pillow covers and more! Use them when you want a fabric with a little more structure. They pair nicely with our Serape stripes, also in canvas!

New Kits!
They're new and they're Quilt Corral Exclusives!
Sometimes we have a really beautiful fabric collection that we cut into kits, then they sell out, and we are left with an odd assorment of partial bolts of companion prints.
Enter two different styles of quilts: Quilt Corral's Pinwheel Strippy quilts AND our Precut "By Five" kits where the blocks are alreay cut for you!
The Pinwheel Strippy quilts are a take on the row by row quilt but we are letting the fabric do most of the work! Designed by Barb for a quick to make quilt with a specific theme. Cut the prints into strips, add two rows of simple patchwork for interest, set it all off with contrasting sashings and you'll have a quilt in no time. Finishes approx. 53" x 73" for a great lap-sized quilt.

The precut "By Five" quilts include the blocks already cut for you. Shuffle the stacks of pieces and sew them back together. Add borders and you're done! Finsished size is approx 64" x 76".

Raspberry Cream Barb's Way/Carol's Way
Our Quilt Rush pattern this year was Raspberry Cream. In our usual tradition, we created two different versions of the pattern and created kits for the 43" x 53" lap quilt. Choose from typical patriotic prints with a navy background (Barb's way) or Floral border with prints with a little shimmer (Carol's way). Our Quilt Rush pattern by Villa Rosa Designs is included AND we've included our own special cutting and sewing instructions that uses fewer seams!

Confetti Thread by Wonderfil for Riley Blake
1500 yd spools in a selection of neutral colors. We have this new thread in a variety of common colors. The 60 wt 2 ply thread is made with long cotton fibers for nearly lint free sewing. Great for hand work as well as machine stitching.
