Welcome to Christmas in July!
We can't help it, it's when the new Christmas fabrics ship from the manufacturers, so "July" means "Christmas" in Quilt Shop lingo.
If it's too soon for you to think about Christmas, fear not, we've also included summery ideas and a charming Halloween project in this newsletter.

Block of the Month:
Flamingo Toes Needle Minder of the Month launches this month. Our shipment has arrived. If you signed up to have your monthly needle minder mailed, they will ship out next week. If you'll be picking up at the store, stop in to get your July needle minder as soon as possible. Note: This program is sold out.

Famore Rotary cutter with ball bearing action
We've all been raving about the new Famore Rotary cutter. Although it is now available in all three sizes, we are currently sold out of the 60mm cutter but, drum roll please, we have it in stock in the 45mm and 28mm sizes. Barb has been anxiously awaiting the 28mm size for trimming up her leftover triangles!

Scrappy Triangle Foundation paper tablets
Barb discovered these at a recent Quilt Festival in Kansas City. If you love foundation piecing but hate drawing or copying the patterns, treat yourself to a tablet of triangle papers for scrappy triangles. We have them in the 3" finished block and the 6" finished block. Shown are Barb's 6" blocks from the class she took.

Veteran's Quilt Project
We appreciate everyone who has been sewing for our local veterans. Each month a quilt is presented to a veteran in our community. Here is a recently completed quilt made with blocks stitched by our customers.
As Carol says, "Garden in the morning, sew in the afternoon!"
