Summer is in full swing, but soon students will be back in school and our lives will slip into fall routines. We have beautiful fall and Christmas fabrics and new notions in the shop. Stop in and see all the lovelies.

Sept retreat: Sept 19, 20, 21, 2024. General registration is now open. The cost is $250 for three days of sewing at the Glenn County Fairgrounds. A $75 deposit will save your space, (balances due by Sept 1) Or you may pay in full. Please make RV or hotel reservations on your own.

Block of the Month:
Growing up on the Ranch is a multi-technique project. Each month for the first 6 months make an embroidered block, an applique block (we used fusible applique), and a strip of patchwork. The final two months of the program features setting pieces, and borders. Our version is made with a plethora of western prints in a palette of red, blue and cream.
Finished size is 72" x 76"

Time For All Seasons BOM
Designed by One Sister, we've used warm reproduction prints that lean toward the primitive style set against multiple greyish/blue backgrounds. Each month for 10 months, you will make a combination of pieced and appliqued blocks with a touch of embroidery. Our sample was made using fusible applqiue.
Finished size: 58" x 72"
Limited to 12 participants.

Full Moon
This gorgeous collection is a mix of southwest images with a celestial twist. The colors and prints lean a little to the retro side of things with brown, teal, coral and gold and then there are night sky prints that we love!

Lori Holt Seam Guide
The Lori Holt Seam Guide is designed to attach to the bed of your machine for sewing folded corners without drawing lines. A similar version of this tool has been around for years, leave it to Lori Holt to turn it into a flower shape. That means no corners to snag on your project!

Seam Guide Setter
While not new, we also have a nifty tool for setting a seam guide for a scant 1/4". If you have ever worked with a pattern that instructs to use a "scant" 1/4" seam allowance and don't really know how to measure that on your machine, this guide is for you. Designed with a applicator and 6 peel and stick guides, it's super easy to apply accurately. The notched opening slips around your needle providing perfect alighnment. Then just peel the backing and insert the guide into the slot and press down. Perfect everytime.
