Hello Mariner's Compass Enthusists!
I'm gearing up for our class on Monday Jan 22, 2024 at Quilt Corral.
This class is basically an introductory class to get you familiar with how to use the fantastic Marti Michell Mariner's Compass template set and flying Geese Ruler. I will also show you my method for appliqueing the block to the background. Plan to cut out most or all of the first block. You may have time to sew one wedge but not the whole thing, so it's up to you if you want to bring your machine.
The class is set for 10 AM to 12 noon in the little building at the end of the strip mall the shop is in.
Bring:
Rotary cutting equipment (mat, cutter and ruler)
Mariner's Compass Template set (in Month 1 kit)
Small Flying Geese Ruler (in month 1 kit)
Month One BOM kit (if you are not enrolled in the BOM bring the fabrics you want to use in your first block)
Sewing machine if you are a speedy cutter and think you might want to sew the first wedge.
Month 2 kits ware ready for you to pick up the day of the class.
