NEW Ironing mat, the Iron Matik - Now taking Special Orders

We found this awesome padded ironing mat at Quilt Market and we think it's the cat's meow. Place it on any table or countertop and the 7 layers of insulation keeps heat from transfering to the table. If you attend retreats you can set your machine on one end and use the other end for ironing. No warping of the surface underneath, no build up of moisture under the mat. It's amazing. We debuted it at our Naughty or Nice Sew In and are now taking orders.

25" x 39". Choose Yellow, Purple, Coral, Sage or Aqua.

Click here to preorder and select your color. (Carol got aqua, Barb selected purple - I know, not pink for a change!)

NEW! June Tailor,  3 pack of Utility Shopper Totes.

Make a huge capacity tote bag using pre-printed interfacing for foundation piecing. We could call this quilt-as-you-go although there isn't any batting involved. Start with six to eight 1/4 yard cuts of coordinating prints and 3/4 yd of lining fabric (1 1/4 if directional). Add 1/2 yd for straps and binding and you are ready to go. Barb has sewn all three versions. See them on display at the shop. One important tip: Do not put a hot iron on the interfacing - it will melt. The Magic Seam Wand wooden pressing stick works like a charm. Heat it by sliding it across your hot iron, then use it to press seams as you go.
